AvraOS Privacy Policy
AvraOS Privacy Policy - A legal disclaimer
This page is the AvraOS Privacy Policy. It describes how personal information is accessed, collected, used, stored, secured, and disclosed for (1) this website, (2) the AvraOS application you install from the Microsoft Store or our site, and (3) our update channel when we ship an installer.
Publisher: the company listed as publisher of AvraOS in the Microsoft Store. Product and site: AvraOS, https://www.avraos.com. Contact: info@avraos.com. Effective 26 August 2026.
AvraOS is self-hosted software. You install it on a PC, office server, or a virtual machine you rent/own. Your vault and CRM database stay on that install. We do not host your software and we do not hold your database. You are responsible for personal information you put in your own AvraOS install (your employees, your customers, your documents). This policy is not legal advice about how you must treat that information. It is our disclosure of what we and the app do.
This is not Microsoft’s privacy policy. Microsoft’s terms apply to your Microsoft account and Store download. This is not Wix’s privacy policy. Wix hosts this website; see the Wix Privacy Policy for how Wix processes data as our hosting provider.
Self-hosted software cannot be made un-hackable. Anyone with the program folder can alter files. We do not claim otherwise. We also do not disable an install that skips updates or patches a copy. Practices here are what we actually do, including the update check described below. If those practices change, we will change this page first. This document is not a warranty and not legal advice to you.
AvraOS Privacy Policy - the basics
A privacy policy must say what personal information is collected, why, how it is stored and secured, and who can see it. Here is that statement for AvraOS.
Information the website collects
If you join the waitlist or submit a form on avraos.com, we collect the email address and any name or message you type. We use it only to tell you when AvraOS is available and to answer you. We do not sell that list. Wix may set cookies and process the form on our behalf. The host may log IP address and browser type. You can refuse non-essential cookies if a cookie banner is shown.
Information the AvraOS app accesses on your machine
After install, AvraOS can access and store on your computer or VM: named user logins; customer, lead, work-order, schedule, inventory, and related CRM records; company documents in your vault; optional keys you paste (AI providers, call tracking, email, phone desk). That is personal and business information the product can access. We do not receive a copy. There is no usage analytics product, and AvraOS does not ping us on every launch to keep working. You control that data by using the app, backing it up, or deleting the program folder, vault, and databases.
Information you send to vendors you choose
If you paste your own keys or point AvraOS at a service you already buy, the app sends only what that feature needs to that vendor, under their privacy policy. Examples: an AI / model provider; call tracking or phone desk (such as Callcap, CallRail, Zoom Phone, Microsoft Teams Phone); a dedicated inbound mailbox (IMAP or Microsoft Graph) for leads. Those connections are off until you turn them on. That is opt-in by you. We are not those vendors.
Information we receive if you buy Rebrand Unlock
The core product is free. The only paid product is Rebrand Unlock (company look on your install). If you buy it, we may receive company name, an install identifier, location cap, and your contact email so we can issue a signed license file. The license lives on your install. AvraOS does not need to reach us to keep running after activation.
Information the update wizard may send
When we package AvraOS as an installer, the app may include an update wizard. If you check for updates (or Microsoft Store checks for you), that request goes to our update host or to Microsoft so we can offer a newer build without replacing your vault or CRM, and a smaller update file when we can.
That request may include: current app version, operating system, and update channel; an install identifier created on that machine (the same id a license binds to); whether a small set of signed core files we shipped still match (license public key and updater/orchestrator binaries — not your documents, not your CRM); and IP address (normal for HTTPS). It does not include your vault, customers, work orders, users, or keys.
If those signed core files do not match what we shipped, we may refuse that update and may keep a log of the failed check (install identifier, version, time, pass/fail) to operate the update channel and protect the paid unlock. We will not turn off the copy you already have. A clean install of the free core remains available. You can leave auto-check off and keep running the version on disk.
How we store and secure what we hold
Your data: on your disk, under your Windows sign-in, AvraOS passwords, and (if you scale) your VPN. We cannot encrypt a database we do not have.
What we hold (waitlist, license contact, update logs) is used only for those purposes, kept only as long as needed to run the site, licenses, and updater (and accounting where required), and is not sold. License files are signed; we keep the signing private key.
AvraOS Privacy Policy - what this policy includes
This policy includes sharing, your controls, access rights, children, Microsoft Store, changes, and how to contact us.
Who we disclose to
• Nobody, for your vault and CRM — that data never leaves your install unless you send it.
• Wix — website host and waitlist forms.
• Vendors you enable in the app — only after you configure them.
• Microsoft — Store account, download, and Store commerce if you use it. We do not receive your Microsoft password.
• Us — waitlist email; license details if you buy; update/integrity logs if you check for updates.
• Law enforcement — only if required by law for data we actually hold (waitlist, license contact, or update logs), not your CRM.
We do not publish your personal information to a third party through the product unless you opt in (for example by pasting a vendor key).
Your controls and how to access your information
• Your data on your install: you hold it. Export, edit, or delete it there. We cannot fulfill an access, correction, or deletion request for records on your disk because we do not have them.
• Waitlist, license contact, or update logs we hold: email info@avraos.com. We will correct or delete what we have, except records we must keep for accounting or to operate the update channel.
• Vendors in the app: clear the keys in Configuration or Settings.
• Updates: you can decline auto-check and keep the version you have.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal information we hold, and to appeal a refusal. Email the address above. We will not discriminate against you for exercising those rights. If we cannot do what you ask because the data is only on your machine, we will say so plainly.
Children
AvraOS is for businesses. It is not directed at children under 13. The website waitlist is not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Microsoft Store
If you get AvraOS from the Microsoft Store, Microsoft may process your Store account, download, and (if you use Store commerce) payment. See Microsoft’s privacy statement.
Changes to this privacy policy
We will post updates at https://www.avraos.com/privacy-policy when these practices change (new optional vendor, updater fields, or paid unlock). The effective date at the top will change. Material changes will be on this URL before they apply to a Store listing.
